I tried a lot of new tools while leading Meet Your Writer in Paris, and my favorite was a word deck. We each got a deck of colorful, blank cards. The assignment was to collect words, haiku and word sketches. By the end of the week, you’d have a deck of quick impressions, inspirations and ideas to build on in other ways.
