Well, happy Labor Day to my American readers. I honestly don’t pay much attention to holidays, other than birthdays, so here I am working away.

The shift into autumn has happened, mostly reflected in my work life. Summer hours are indeed over! My Write ON group has started which means I have 8 new clients I get to work with, plus my own project - Pitchfest!

You might be the same, feeling that boulversant kind of vibe - the French word for…I can’t really translate it but I will try: unbalanced, uneven, the feeling of walking on a moving, undulating surface. We’re all getting our footing with the new season.

That said, I will return to my thrice-monthly posting, not weekly.

Her Lisbon Colors in the Wild

I was featured yesterday Tina Bettison’s Substack!

I coached Tina a few years ago to fold her creativity back into her life. She’d had a series of situations - as we all do - that required her focus elsewhere. Tina is a smart, versatile person who loves learning, creating and connecting.

Tina’s Substack Gathering Our Bones is a refreshing dive into what it means to have our creative lives at the center at midlife. She’s started an interview series, and I am honored to be her first guest. Here’s a link to our written conversation.

Before we dive into what I did last week and how it felt, here’s a picture of my studio where it all happens.

Lots of flowers from the garden!
